Recipe: find any standard cookie recipe online, realize halfway through that u have no chocolate chips, walk to the corner store and get m&ms, a heathbar, some offbrand Oreos, and a hershey bar and smash ‘em up. Add as much as u can while the dough will still stay together. Bake 10 mins @350. Nom.

So I haven’t vanished but I have been SUPER busy! Painting the condo like crazy so we can have the floors refinished on Monday AND I got a job. I’m working at an auction gallery full time now. It’s such a relief to be employed. My first auction is July 10th… Lots to do before then.

Picking paint colors for the condo…. Let’s see what Z says tomorrow. Can’t wait for him to get back from Kentucky. A weekend with the guys was good for him I think. Plus, it gave me a chance to go to home depot like 4 times :)

Finally knitting a triangle scarflet. Kept putting this off but I’m hoping it’ll be a good future sister in law x-mas present.

this is what modern knitting is all about. Well done! A fair isle yolk is a great place to play with a pattern… Something in me wants to make a version of this with armadillos… ::searching for graph paper::

Closed on Z’s condo today (Yay!) so I immediately got paint samples. Sample 1

Want to make Z a Robin hood inspired scarf cause were watching the BBC version. I’m thinking a scarf with archers arrows running along it. Here is arrowhead lace free from lion brands site. I think this may work for the flights? Hmmm design design….

Here it is on me. So soft and delicate. I’m casting on a scarf out of this stuff asap. (Rowan kidsilk haze).

Done with the first Alice in wonderland wristlet. Kidsilk is soooo soft an pleasent to work with. Turned out too big but I fixed it in the seaming. Z thinks his little sister would wear them so they’ll be going to her. She’s just starting highschool- perfect age for fingerless gloves. I just think they look silly on anyone over 20.
